One man's egg timer is another man's renaissance.

Two survivors shelter from the uncertainty outside. In the fading light, they debate the truth, eat more cold beans and plan for the world they will create when they emerge . . .
Somewhere far away, three Stage Managers are working on a classical play. Amid the drama and bloodshed, they struggle for power, lament the tragedy of a lost prop and pray they just make it to the end of the shift . . .

After our sell-out debut show, Closing The Gap Theatre returned to Camden People's Theatre with our follow-up piece
Time: Four. Us Two from 19th to 22nd February 2014.

'Ultimately, this is another mind-bending, interesting and cerebral work from Closing the Gap.'

An Evening Of The Absurd: Are We All Still Waiting For Godot? will take you on a journey through the bleak, darkly comic and occasionally terrifying world of The Absurd. The evening consists of two performances:

Breakfast With Chamberlain follows one man’s attempts to change the course of history and a family's tragic experiences of war. Set in Britain in September 1939, with the outbreak of World War Two on the doorstep, this short play explores some of the themes addressed by many of the playwrights associated with Theatre of the Absurd.

Glory Days is a modern-day story of four guests having dinner on the eve of a very important event. Their struggles with identity and communication, tales of loss and ambitions of controlling the future, leads to both tragic & hilarious consequences.

Closing The Gap Theatre's sold out debut show featured as part of the Camden Fringe at the Camden People's Theatre from 5th to 7th August 2013.

"An Evening of the Absurd: Are We All Still Waiting For Godot? is an enjoyable piece which will leave you looking for answers for several days" - lastminutetheatretickets.com
